Trek To Leh

9 Nights / 10 Days

A large valley formed by the main channels of the Indus Rivers as they flow across Ladakh, the place includes parts of Leh district, the Skardu region and the vast cold desert beyond. The Indus Valley is the soul of Ladakh and is strategically the most important part. Passing through a vast inhabited wilderness at the very heart of the Himalayas, the Indus valley region comprises of some of the least explored places of Ladakh. A motorable road along the old caravan route through the hills between Likkir and Temisgong, makes a leisurely two-day hike.

Itinerary (Leh - Likir - Yangthang - Ang - Wanlah - Lamayuru - Leh)

	Day 1: Arrive Leh
	On your arrival check in into your hotel and get acclimatized to the place. After that you will proceed for a tour of Leh city, including its 17th century palace and Gompa.

	Day 2: Leh
	After an overnight stay and breakfast you will go for your tour of Shey, Thikshe, and Hemis Gompas, the spiritual heart of the Indus Valley.

	Day 3: Leh - Likir
	Today we shall take you for a tour of Basgo, Alchi, and Likir Gompas. Later we shall Camp at Likir.

	Day 4: Likir - Yangthang
	Today we shall take you for a trek over Pobe la (3550 Meters) to Yangthang. Overnight camp.

	Day 5: Yangthang
	Today we shall trek to Rizong Gompa and then trek back to Yangthang. Overnight camp.

	Day 6: Yangthang - Ang
	We shall start the day early by trekking to Sermanchan la (3750 Meters) and Lago la (3750 Meters) to Ang. Overnight camp.

	Day 7: Ang - Wanlah
	Today trek to Temisgang, then on to Bongbong la (3630 Meters) to Khaltse, then by jeep to Wanlah. Today you will Camp at Wanlah.

	Day 8: Wanlah - Lamayuru
	Today we shall trek to Prinkiti la (3725 Meters) and onto Lamayuru. Overnight in camp at Lamayuru.

	Day 9: Lamayuru - Leh
	Today morning we shall drive you back to Leh. On arrival check in into hotel.

	Day 10: Leh Departure
	Today we shall provide you with transfer to airport for flight back home.
