Kerala has a wide variety of experiences to offer to its visitors, ranging from historical monuments in Cochin, tea & spice plantations of Munnar hills, Periyar tiger reserve, backwaters in Kumarakom & beautiful beaches of Kovalam. Kerala’s rejuvenating ayurvedic therapies is famous among the tourists. Kingfisher has daily flights to Cochin & Trivandrum from major cities of India.

Itinerary (Cochin - Munnar - Thekkady - Kumarakom - Kovalam)

	Day 1: Arrive Cochin
	On arrival in Cochin our representative shall meet you at the airport to welcome you and transfer to hotel. Later a city tour of Cochin covering Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing Nets & Indo-Portuguese Museum. Overnight stay at the hotel.

	Day 2: Cochin - Munnar
	Today, we shall straight away drive you 130 kilometers (approx drive of 3 ½ hrs) to Munnar enroute visiting the spice plantations. On arrival in Munnar, check in into hotel. Evening relax in the famous mists of Munnar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

	Day 3: Munnar
	Today, we shall take you for a city tour of Munnar covering - Mattupetty Dam & Lake, Kondalay Lake & Echo Point, Indo-Swiss Livestock Project, Eravikulam Sanctuary for the world famous Nilgiri Tahr & the Pullivasal Waterfalls. Overnight stay at the hotel.

	Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady (Periyar)
	Post breakfast, transfer to Thekkady (100 km/02 hrs drive), the home of Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Check in at hotel for night stay. Post arrival optional boat ride in the Periyar Lake to view wildlife. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

	Day 5: Thekkady - Kumarakom
	Today, we shall drive you to Kumarakom in approx 4 hrs. On arrival, check in into hotel later we shall take you for a visit to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Evening sunset cruise on Vembanadu Lake and the backwaters. Overnight stay at the hotel.

	Day 6: Houseboat (Kumarakom - Alleppey)
	Kumarakom is the perfect base to explore the backwaters of Kerala in a traditional style houseboat. Here you check in at air-conditioned houseboat for overnight stay. Houseboat travel provides an excellent opportunity to experience the culture, cuisine & life of local people from close quarters.

	Day 7: Alleppey - Kovalam
	Post breakfast, disembark houseboat at Alleppey jetty & surface transfer to Kovalam (190 km/4 hrs drive). Check into the hotel on Kovalam arrival for night stay. Kovalam is a tourist paradise for its beautiful beaches & Ayurvedic therapies. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

	Day 8: Kovalam
	Today you have options to choose to stay on beaches & unwind yourself in various Ayurvedic therapies offered by hotel or half day excursion to Trivandrum town for its beautiful temples & museums. Rest of day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

	Day 9: Trivandrum Airport Departure
	In the morning hrs, we provide departure transfer to Trivandrum airport for your flight to onward destination.
