Char Dham Yatra Duration: 11 nights / 12 days 

Consisting of the most revered Hindu pilgrimage circuit, Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath together make the Char Dham. Yamunotri houses the temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and the holy springs at Jankichatti. Gangotri has the much-revered shrine of Gangotri and is believed to be the spot from where Ganga descended on earth. Kedarnath has the shrine of Sri Kedarnathji, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Badrinath houses the Sri Badrinathji Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. For those making this tough journey, the Chardham must be visited from left to right - commencing with Yamunotri, proceeding to Gangotri, Kedarnath and culminating at Badrinath.

Itinerary (Haridwar - Ranachatti - Uttarakashi - Rudraprayag - Kedarnath - Badrinath - Joshimath - Rishikesh)
Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar (200 kms / 6 hrs)

Welcome on arrival at Delhi airport and transfer by road to Haridwar lunch en route. Upon arrival in Haridwar, check in at hotel and relax. Post arrival guided visit to Har-ki-Pauri for spiritual Ganga Aarti in the evening. Return to your hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 2: Haridwar - Ranachatti (240 kms / 7 hrs) (breakfast)

After breakfast, we depart for Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. En route we visit Kempty Fall and Mall Road in Mussoorie. Arrival in Ranachatti for overnight stay.

Day 3: Ranachatti - Yamunotri - Ranachatti {15 kms drive & 6 kms trek (one side)} (breakfast)

Today we drive to Phool Chatti and then trek to Yamunotri (7kms). We can hire horse or Palanquins at our own if unable to trek. Upon arrival in Yamunotri, we have opportunity to cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot Kund or spring. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "pooja" can be offered to divya shila, after taking bath in jamunabai kund's hot water. After "darshan" of pious "yamunaji" we return to hanumanchatti for drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 4: Ranachatti - Uttarakashi (130 kms / 4 hrs) (breakfast)

In the morning vehicle transfer to Uttarakashi via Barkot. Check in hotel and relax. Post check in visit to Vishwanath Temple if interested. Stay overnight at Uttarakashi.

Day 5: Uttarakashi - Gangotri - Uttarakashi (100 kms / 3 hrs each side) (breakfast)

Today morning we proceed to Gangotri (3048 mts), en route enjoying the picturesque Harsil village, Bhagirathi river and the most spectacular views of the Himalayas. After Gangotri visit, we return to Uttarakashi. Overnight at Uttarakashi.

Day 6: Uttarakashi - Rudraprayag (175 kms / 6 hrs) (breakfast)

Early morning we move by road to Rudraprayag en route visiting largest Tehri Dam. Upon arrival in Rudraprayag, check in hotel for rest and overnight stay.

Day 7: Rudraprayag - gaurikund (75 kms / 3 hrs) - Kedarnath (14 kms trek) (breakfast)

Today we start our spiritual journey to Kedarnath through drive to Gaurikund and then start trek to Kedarnath (3584 mts) on foot or on by pony / doli whichever you prefer. We recommend that tourists should carry first aid kit, personal medicines, heavy woolen clothes and toiletries for an overnight stay at Kedarnath. Upon reaching, check in at hotel. Post arrival visit Kedarnath Temple. Overnights stay.
Amidst the dramatic mountainscapes of the majestic Kedarnath range stands one of the twelve " Jyotirlingas of Kedar or Lord Shiva. Lying at an altitude of 3584 mts on the head of river Mandakani, the shrine of Kedarnath is amongst the holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus. There are more than 200 shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva in district itself, the most important one is Kedarnath.

Day 8: Kedarnath – Rudraprayag (75 kms / 3 hrs (14 kms trek)) (breakfast)

Early morning you will have another opportunity to get Darshan of Kedarnath Temple. Return to Gaurikund & drive straight to Rudraprayag. Check in hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9: Rudraprayag - Badrinath (165 kms / 7 hrs) (breakfast)

Post breakfast we depart to Badrinath via Joshimath. Arrival Badrinath and check in hotel. Post arrival visit to Badrinath temple for spiritual evening Aarti. Overnight stay at Badrinath.
Guarded on either side by the two mountains Nar and Narayan, the Neelkanth Peak provides a splendid backdrop to Badrinath, one of the ‘Four Dhams’. Legend has it that Lord Vishnu came to the area, called ‘Badri Van’, or the berry garden, to meditate after Narad rebuked the Lord for being immersed in worldly pleasures. The main deity is a meditating Lord Vishnu.

Day 10: Badrinath - Joshimath (44 kms / 3 hrs) (breakfast)

Facing the temple at the bank of Alaknanda River is a hot water spring known as "Tapt Kund", a bath in which is very refreshing to all travelers. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple of Shri Badrinathji is five metres high, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. The temple opens every year in the month of April-May and closes for winters in the third week of November. Even though legend dates the temple back to the Vedic age, Guru Adi Shankaracharya has established the present temple. The temple has three parts - Garbha Grih (The Sanctum Sanctorum), Darshan Mandap (for pujas) and Sabha Mandap (for devotees to assemble).
Later return to Joshimath for overnight stay.

Day 11: Joshimath - Rishikesh (254 kms / 8 hrs) (breakfast)

In the early morning, visit Narsingh temple & Shankracharaya math. Later, return to Rishikesh. Upon arrival at Rishikesh, check in hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12: Rishikesh - Delhi (225 kms / 7 hrs) (breakfast)

During last leg of journey to Delhi, today we take tour of Rishikesh visiting Laxman Jhula, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Trivani Ghat and Gita Bhawan temple. Post visit, Vehicle transfer to Delhi airport. Tour ends after arrival in Delhi airport for your departure back home.
